Managing Director
Mr. Prasad has more than 3 decades of rich and varied experience in the field of IT infrastructure, low-current systems, ICT, AV, and various ELV systems. His long and successful tenure at the helm of Alpha Data, one of the well-known IT infrastructure and integration companies in the UAE, has given him domain knowledge on various industry segments like hospitality, healthcare, education, airports, real estate, etc. Technical expertise and management skills, along with strategic approaches adopted by him, have helped the organization grow from a product vendor to an infrastructure provider.
As Director of Infosight, Mr. Prasad brings in this insight to guide the team towards excellence in the design process. His practical on-the-ground experience in managing several IT projects in various sectors is a great asset to this consulting practice.
He had attended several training sessions by various manufacturers and is a regular speaker and visitor to technology forums, both international and local. His interpersonal communication skills and personality have provided him with a wide understanding of the IT industry, with strong relationships with developers, architects, consultants, manufacturers, etc., ensuring his clients have the optimal value in this engagement.
Mr. Prasad’s passion has resulted in extending Infosight’s presence to the Indian market with registered offices in Bangalore, Karnataka, and Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. This expansion has allowed Infosight to tap into the rapidly growing technology sector in India and establish partnerships with local businesses. Mr. Prasad's leadership and vision have been instrumental in driving the company's success in this new market.
Vamsidhar Babu Komatineni
Managing Director - India
Mr. Vamsidhar is a highly accomplished professional with over 36 years of diverse experience spanning manufacturing, consultancy, real estate, and training. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a focus on Marketing. As Managing Director of our India offices, Mr. Vamsidhar has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a keen ability to drive business growth within the Indian market.
In his previous roles, he served as the Promoter and Managing Director of Harsha Electronics Pvt Ltd, an ancillary unit to Amararaja Batteries Ltd. He was also the Promoter and Managing Director of Vinsari Fruitech Ltd, a listed public limited company and a 100% Export Oriented Unit. Under his leadership, Vinsari Fruitech was recognized as the Best Export Oriented Unit by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and received Export Quality Promotion Awards from the Government of India.
An internationally certified faculty member of Lions Clubs International, Mr. Vamsidhar has trained over 2,000 individuals in India and globally. His contributions as Chairperson of the Leadership Development Committee at Lions Clubs International were instrumental in shaping the organization's global policies. Additionally, he has made significant contributions as a freelance consultant in fruit processing and marketing, playing a key role in establishing and revitalizing fruit processing units.
Mr. Vamsidhar’s vast knowledge, extensive travel, and deep understanding of the business requirements of hotels and enterprises make him a valuable asset to Infosight Consultants. His connections with business houses and his broad networking skills provide substantial opportunities for business growth. As a former Director on the International Board of Directors of Lions Clubs International, representing India, South Asia, and the Middle East, Mr. Vamsidhar continues to be an influential figure in various service and social organizations.
Suresh Kumar G (ATD ® CDCDP®)
Executive Director
Mr. Suresh Kumar has over 27 years of experience in the field of technology and more than 17 years of consulting experience in the IT/AV/security/ELV fields. A team leader and has been heading the technical team of INFOSIGHT for the past 11 years.
He possesses immense knowledge and thorough understanding of low-voltage systems and consulting practice. He has successfully implemented several prestigious projects in the UAE and MEA (Middle East and Africa) and has gained vast consulting experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Infosight, he was associated with another large ELV consulting firm in the UAE, where he was heading multiple projects.
A certified data center designer (ATD-accredited Tier Designer) from the UpTime Institute and CDCDP (Certified Data Center Design Professional) from CNET has been involved with data center projects within the UAE, GCC, and India. He has undergone multiple manufacturer certifications for structured cabling, active networking, Audio Visual Systems hence, possess thorough understanding of technology and its appropriate applications within projects.
Suresh possesses a clear understanding of implementation methodologies for IT, AV, security, and ELV technologies. Familiar with the current industry technology trends and holds the distinction of instituting new practices to achieve project objectives at the lowest overall cost. Possess end-to-end implementation of IT systems like structured cabling, data networking, wireless, IP telephony, IPTV, GRMS, etc. A project planner with expertise in spearheading numerous projects and ensuring delivery of projects within the time and cost parameters.
Suresh also possesses the functional knowledge of the overall IT requirements of a manufacturing unit, having worked for 10 years in a manufacturing unit and implemented the latest state of the art solutions.
Roshan M Thomas (CTSP, MSyI)
Principal Consultant
An Instrumentation & Electronics Engineer, with professional experience for the past twelve years in the field of security consulting and management, providing integrated Security Management System solutions. Certifications include Certified Technical Security Professional (CTSP), City & Guilds Security Engineer, and City & Guilds Security Manager in the field of security. Additionally, a Certified SCS Installer, POLAN/LASERWAY Certified Designer, and Certified Huawei GPON Network Designer in the field of IT. Key areas of expertise include planning and design of video surveillance, access control and intrusion, physical security devices, perimeter intrusion, and license plate recognition systems in various sectors like government buildings, retails, hotels & apartments, residences, offices, defense, hospitals, museums, universities, banks, and airports in the Middle East. Develop security specifications; review technical design documents and submittals.
Develop schematics and technical documentation for turnkey project submissions. A strong academic background and exposure to world-class security systems enable him to identify client requirements and develop effective solutions based on cost-benefit analysis. Well versant with statutory regulations for security systems as per UAE, Qatar, and other government authorities.
Also specialized as an acoustics consultant with experience in architectural, MEP, and environmental acoustics, the knowledge brings specialization in all forms of building acoustics, including room planning and finish selection, acoustic isolation, and environmental noise control.
Consults on a variety of projects such as auditoriums, ballrooms, theater complexes, government buildings, retail outlets, hotels & hotel apartments, residences, offices, hospitals, museums, universities, banks, and airports. Furthermore, a member of the Middle East Acoustics Society (MEAS). Also a member of AVIXA—InfoComm for Audio Visual Systems.
